A low-sulphidation epithermal gold-silver prospect straddling the Sinaloa–Durango state border — with three drill-ready showings, a completed NI 43-101 technical report, and a riverside position in one of Mexico's most mineral-rich geological corridors.
Project Río is a low-sulphidation epithermal gold-silver prospect located at the Sinaloa–Durango state border, defined by the Baluarte River valley within the southern Sierra Madre Occidental. The NI 43-101 Technical Report (Michel Boily, PhD., P.Géo., Maya Gold and Silver Inc., April 2008) covers three showings — La Campana, Santa Rita, and El Sacrificio — all returning meaningful Au-Ag values in grab and channel sampling programs conducted in 2007–2008.
The property sits within a Tertiary-age, predominantly silicic volcanic belt that is the same geological environment hosting numerous producing and advanced-stage Au-Ag mines across the Sierra Madre Occidental. The La Campana showing alone has been traced for 1 km of strike length, with a principal adit developed along the main structure and multiple parallel vein sets identified. Santa Rita presents a system of three parallel Au-Ag mineralized quartz veins oriented 10° and dipping 70° east.
All three showings have been surface-sampled, mapped, and geochemically analyzed. No drilling has been completed — the entire subsurface is uncommitted, making this a high-upside pre-drill exploration opportunity with a completed technical foundation.
The property is offered to qualified investors and mine developers with the following transaction structures considered:
