Opportunity Overview

Project Nicole is a gold, silver, copper, and strategic metals exploration project in the municipality of Tamazula, Durango, at the limits with Sinaloa — 27 km east of Cosalá. The property encompasses 2,186 hectares of current concessions (Nicole I), with Nicole II (5,000 ha expansion) in process, held by José Ramón López Ayón. The project is within the Sierra Madre Occidental, in the subprovince of the Gran Meseta y Cañadas Duranguenses, at elevations ranging from 300 to 2,200 metres above sea level.

The asset is anchored by Veta Lluvia Dorada — a historically exploited high-grade gold-silver vein exposed in an underground adit, from which a channel sample returned 17.2 g/t Au over 60 cm during the 2024 reconnaissance program. Additional structures identified include Veta Fallas (0.45 g/t Au confirmed) and a copper-bearing network vein system (calcopirita-bornita-malaquita). Historic documents reference the presence of free visible gold within the Lluvia Dorada structure.

Critically, airborne magnetic data from Mexico's Servicio Geológico Mexicano reveals a 15 km × 5 km NE-trending magnetic anomaly directly beneath the Nicole concessions — the same style and scale of anomaly associated with multiple producing mines in the surrounding district. This large-scale geophysical signature, combined with surface sampling results and historical mining evidence, positions Nicole as one of the most compelling early-stage exploration opportunities in the Cosalá–Guadalupe de los Reyes district.

Prime Mining is actively drilling at Los Reyes (15 km SW) with 158,000+ metres completed across 572 holes. The same district now hosts Centenario Gold's Edén Project (12 km W), which returned surface samples of up to 239 g/t Au and 1,390 g/t Ag. Nicole sits in the heart of this emerging district.

Key Competitive Advantages

17.2 g/t Au — Confirmed Vein
A channel sample from the Lluvia Dorada adit returned 17.2 g/t Au over 60 cm — an exceptional result for a Phase I reconnaissance sample. Historic documents for the same structure reference free visible gold, confirming that bonanza-grade material was previously extracted and that the system remains open at depth.
15 km Magnetic Anomaly
Airborne magnetic data (SGM Mexico, card G13-C75) reveals a 15 km × 5 km NE-trending anomaly directly beneath the Nicole concessions. This scale of magnetic anomaly typically indicates a buried intrusive body — the same type of source associated with large gold-silver-copper porphyry and epithermal systems throughout the Sierra Madre belt.
Prime Mining — 15 km Neighbour
Prime Mining's Los Reyes project (15 km SW) has completed over 158,000 metres across 572 drill holes with results significantly exceeding historical estimates. Only 40% of known structures have been systematically explored — the same district now extends directly into the Nicole claim block's geological footprint.
Centenario Gold Edén — 12 km West
Centenario Gold's Edén Project is initiating a 10–12 hole, 1,500m inaugural drill program after surface and underground sampling returned up to 239 g/t Au and 1,390 g/t Ag at the Buenavista vein-breccia structure — confirming that bonanza-grade epithermal mineralization is present and active within the same immediate district.
Historic Mining Pedigree
The Cosalá district reached peak production in 1804 with 35,886 kg of silver production from 59 mines. A gold resurgence in the 1930s produced placers at San José del Oro in Cosalá. The Guadalupe de los Reyes mine — 15 km from Nicole — produced an estimated 500,000–600,000 oz Au and 40 million oz Ag at grades of +10 g/t Au and +500 g/t Ag from its late 19th century opening onward.
Expansion Concession in Process
Nicole II — a 5,000 ha expansion concession currently in process — will more than double the property footprint to cover the full extent of the identified magnetic anomaly. Securing this expansion ahead of drill results provides a strategic land position at pre-discovery cost, analogous to the district land-banking strategy successfully employed by Prime Mining at Los Reyes.

Phase I Drill Program

The following Phase I drill plan targets the Lluvia Dorada vein system from six holes across four drill pads. All holes are designed to test the vein at depth and along strike, following the 2024 mapping and sampling program. Total planned meters: 1,315 m.

Phase I Holes
6 Holes
4 drill pads · 1,315 m total · Holes N-01 through N-06. Targeting Lluvia Dorada vein at 125–300m depth on 280° azimuth, multiple inclinations.
Phase I + Geophysics
~$2–3M
Combined budget for Phase I drilling (1,315m), IP electrical geophysics (50 km of E-W lines), geological mapping (1:25,000), trenching, and sample analysis.
Geophysics Target
50 km IP
Electrical IP geophysics recommended across 50 km of E-W survey lines to define the depth, morphology, and physical properties of the 15 km magnetic anomaly prior to Phase II drilling.

Phase I drill plan per geological report (Héctor Ramos, Jan 2024). Budget estimated at current Durango/Sinaloa drilling rates. All figures indicative and subject to detailed program design during due diligence.

Proposed Transaction

The owner seeks a strategic partner, investor, or acquirer to fund the Phase I program and advance the property. The following structures are each considered:

Option A
Joint Venture
Strategic JV with a qualified exploration company or mining fund. Partner funds and operates the geophysics and Phase I–II drill programs; owner retains a carried minority interest and royalty. Preferred for partners bringing Sierra Madre exploration expertise.
Option B
Staged Earn-In
Earn-in arrangement granting majority interest upon completion of Phase I milestones (geophysics + 6-hole drill program). Further earn-in to 80% upon Phase II completion, with owner retaining a 2% NSR royalty in perpetuity.
Option C
Outright Sale
Full acquisition of 100% of the Nicole I and Nicole II concessions, all geological data, sampling results, historical maps, and drill plans. Buyer assumes complete operational control for all phases of exploration and development.
